[Sung to Ole Blue Eyes' My Way] ...And I did it... the Isagenix waaaaaay!!!!!

I did it!  I did the 9-day (plus two pre-Cleanse - so really eleven days total) Isagenix Cleanse.  I AM DONE!  WhOo-HoOoOo!!!!!
I am so proud of myself.  Although I have to say I cheated a little bit on the last day.  But it was a good kind of cheating.  I was wanting to eat REAL food soooooo bad.  So i ate a leftover salad that I had on my last Shake day.  Then i had some pineapple chunks that i bought from Trader Joe's.  OMG.  These pineapple chunks were my savior.  They're so sweet so if you have a sweet tooth these are really good.

Anyway, I am congratulating myself!  LOL LOL LOL

Now, I have to plan my next meal, and I have to plan wisely.  I wouldn't want all the hard work I just did to go to waste, you know what i mean?  Any suggestions, please send them my way.  (:

OH!  and here's Mr. Sinatra singing... My Way....

Dr. Natura Cleanse

First of all, here's the link...

http://www.drnatura.com/

I was feeling "blah" at that time and felt I needed a cleanse. I went through the full regimen and even ordered a second one. What I've discovered in going through yet another cleansing regimen is that I feel great psychologically during the program. I felt empowered and uplifted that I was doing something good for myself. I believe this is what all programs and regimens do. I'm sure it helps us getting healthier but it helps our frame of mind more.

I'm glad APES is doing well with her Isagenix. I look forward to her comments at the conclusion of this regimen.

Isagenix Cleanse taste - an iota of THE DASH

Well, if i needed a solution to my Cleanse taste dilemma, I just got it.  That excerpt from Eckhart Tolle's "Stillness Speaks" is indeed very powerful.  This taste dilemma is just part of THE DASH.  As a matter of fact, it is only a little iota of the Dash.  I'm good now.  I can do this.  Yes i can...

Excerpt from Eckhart Tolle's STILLNESS SPEAKS

"What will be left of all the fearing and wanting associated with your problematic life situation that every day takes up most of your attention?  A dash -- one or two inches long, between the date of birth and date of death on your gravestone.

To the egoic self, this is a depressing thought.  To YOU, it is liberating."

Day 1 of CLEANSE

Just had my first Cleanse drink an hour ago.  It was a very potent 4 oz.  experience.  I had to hold my breath.  I drank it over ice and 8 oz. of water just like the pamphlet suggested.  I had to play Pacman while drinking it to make me not think and smell the potency too much, but it's kinda hard to play the game and drink at the same time.  The first several sips I had to hold my breath.  Actually, come to think of it, I pretty much held my breath the rest of the time I drank it.  Whew!  Okay!!  So, now I know how it tastes.  I'll have to get used to this taste.  There's no other way around it really.  Unless anyone has any other suggestions out there, please feel free... suggest on!  I am open to other possibilties.  (:

First Craving

I'm craving.  I'm  hungry.  *sigh*  I'm trying to stretch out my shake meal.  It's my last "meal" for the day.  This is kind of neat though.  I feel like I am going through some kind of an experiment for myself.  I can actually feel the hunger.  Usually, when you're hungry you know you're hungry and you feel it in your stomach.  Your stomach sends you signals.  But this is different.  I can REALLY FEEL the hunger.  It's hard to describe.  Ooo!  You know what this means don't you?  I think it counts as mindful meditation.  WhooHoo!!  So the moral of the story... get really hungry and be aware of your hunger and you will be enlightened.  LOL.... am kidding.  No, i love this.  This is another lesson to my consciousness practice.  This is great.  Really, it is.

... and i think i'll go make my last shake now.  I can't wait to drink that delicious, scrumpdili-umptious shake.

Mamma Mia, Borders and My First Supper

I finally buckled and went to see Mamma Mia for the second time today.  I love that movie.  Then went to Borders and bought a couple of books (one by Byron Katie and the other by Esther Hicks) and an audiobook (The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz read by Peter Coyote).  It wasn't as bad as I thought.  The little temptations were all around me.  The movie theater was not bad at all either.  Not as bad as I thought it would be.  See how we think catastrophic thoughts and then realize that it's really nothing once you're there?  Typical human thinking.  When I went to Borders, and this is the first time I've ever seen them do this, there was a nice lady as you walk inside the store, greeting me and then asked if i wanted to try a chocolate truffle.  I responded, "Oh, I would love to but not today," and proceeded to the aisles of self-help and metaphysics.  VERY GOOD!... I thought to myself.  I didn't succumb to the temptation.  And a chocolate truffle at that!  So I did good!  I applaud myself for that.  What a SUPER-TROUPER!  Hahaha... That was one of the songs in the movie.

Day 2 of Isagenix Experience

Just had my first shake meal for the day and also took a supplement.  It's a beautiful day outside. The sun is shining.  It is perfect.  I woke up this morning really conscious about what I was feeling, what i was thinking, and what i was hearing.  I equate this cleanse process with meditation.  This cleanse process feels like I'm at some kind of a yoga or silent retreat somewhere.  I don't know.  Maybe it's just me.  I chose to not go anywhere yesterday so maybe that's why it feels like I am at a retreat.  I think this cleanse is playing a big role in the way I am operating mentally and physically.  I am more aware, more conscious and much more alert.  Which, by the way, is a beautiful thing.  Although I have been learning and practicing "consciousness" as a whole for the most part.  Sometimes you see, hear and feel things at a level where it's a hundred times concentrated.  Like orange juice...LOL.

Second Isagenix shake/meal for the day!

This one tastes better.  I think i put too much ice on the first one.  The first shake tasted like cardboard.  This one tastes like cardboard, too, but with a little chocolate flavor.  LMAO!!

Is this blog really all about Isagenix or is it about me learning how to blog?

I just inserted a picture on my second post.  This is fun!  This Blog is a good thing.  It's making me forget of that bitter taste in my mouth that I just experienced from eating a bad raw almond.

Oh and i missed the 7:10 show of Mamma Mia.  Guess I won't be going to the movies.

I think i'm the only one posting on my blog.  Hmm... I invited two people so far so we'll see what happens.  I'm posting comments to my own posts.

Hellooooooooo out there!  LOL

First meal of Isagenix Pre-Cleanse day 1

Just had my first meal.  Yaaaay!  Okay.  Now what the hell did i just bite into when i bit into one of the raw almonds??  OMG.  It was so bitter I almost threw up.  The bitterness was so strong my mouth panicked!  Hahahahaha

Oh well.  I'm glad I went to Trader Joe's earlier today and got some ready to eat chicken and a couple of salads.

I am strongly thinking of going to see a movie at the movie theater but I thought I'd better just stay here.  What with the smell of buttered popcorn or kettle corn... that would be considered punishment.  No, wait.  It would be considered challenging!  (:

Isagenix Pre-Cleanse Day 1

First day of Isagenix Cleansing.  Speed read the instruction pamphlet because I dislike having to read instructions.  It's like reading a manual on how to put a furniture together.  Good thing there's a chart in the pamphlet for people like me who don't want to read instructions.  I'm nervous, excited and nervous again.  I'm already thinking that i'm going to fail in a couple of days which is not good.  DELETE THAT THOUGHT!  You are going to do this dammit!  It's good for your body.  Your body needs it... bad.  What with all the junk food you've been consuming... kettle chips, whoppers, cheese and kettle popcorn, bread with nutella, wheat thins with nutella, fish fillet, fries... did i leave anything out?  That's for the last few days.  I'm not even going to get into the last couple of weeks.  I can't quite figure out where this binge mode is stemming from.  Boredom?  Stress?  Happiness??  Yeah... I eat pretty much with every emotion that every human being could possibly experience.  There is no excuse really.  But let's stick with happiness shall we?  That way I can be positive about all this.
